30 nights of bushweek - intermission

Posted in by CIVIL CIVIC | Edit

Well, we're 11 shows into our Autumnal Assault on Europa and I've managed to complete and post only 2 episodes of what will surely become the most terrifying documentation of human endeavour yet seen on the interwebernet, 30 Nights Of Bushweek!

Honestly, this is going to be impossible. So with a heavy heart I have to inform Ramy, Rebecca and the 6 other people who read this blog that I'm going to have to wait until the dinged tour is over and then compile my notes and snaps and get blogging.

So it'll be a couple of weeks until you can read more about the hilarious exploits of The Baaron Von Nibbles and his elderly sidekick. In the meantime, remember that breakfast is the most important meal of the day...and that I love you all like my own children.

Fuck, man. Your tales of near death and debauchery are what keep me going in this increasingly winterized Eastern land! I'm fucking bummed I'm going to miss you ragers in Berlin tonight. Why not tour your lazy asses all the way to Poland? Warsaw could use a new asshole torn in it and you dudes are prime for the job. Do it!

    Love and snuggles,

    It's ok!

When I get bored I just make up Civil Civic adventures in my mind. Last week you visited a haunted house and solved a mystery! It was pretty bad ass, especially the part where you guys used wild feedback to scare the ghosts back into the magic lantern, hence banishing them to the underworld. I thought they had you for a second there, but you guys prevailed once again, ending another installment of the Civil Civic Adventures. Tune in next next week to find out what happens when some asshole runs on stage and attempts to add vocals to Less Unless. The events are shocking! And violent.

See? That's probably what you were going to write anyway. I just did your blogging for you.

The funny thing is my stories are only slightly more imagined than yours.

Yeah, just give your password to Ramy and get him to take over. No one would ever know.

    Take care Dad.

Thankyou all for the encouraging sentiments, even the part about being a lazy cunt, Ursi. Haven't you got some venue managing to do?

..and yeah, maybe it is time to give Ramy the keys to the car and let him drive for a while. I'll have to think it over. In the meantime, big sloppy dog kisses to all y'all. I'll be back on board as soon as the, y'know, gigs are over. That is top priority, afterall.

Priorities, piffle. If you're not playing the gigs to us, they don't rate at all. Get it right.
